Communication is key. Talking it out saves a lot of turmoil in the end. The dude should meet her halfway if she’s willing to have a civilised conversation. If she is a priority, then he must want to meet her halfway. But, and this is a big ‘but’ – she also has to respect his friendships and understand that time with his friends is just as important as their relationship. That’s pretty much it. So talk it out.
Plus, as a side-bar, showing your dude that you love his mates will make him see you in a better light. He won’t see you as selfish and controlling. If you respect what he loves then he’ll respect you for it.
