Stuff To Do This Month!

1.   Throw a party

You need to throw a party.  Get your parents in on it, and have a blast.  Home parties are the best.  It’s also a safer way of hanging out.  The really cool thing is that at house parties, people get on better and interact more.  Plus you get to decide who comes!

2.   Bungee jump

If you are afraid of heights, then maybe you’ll wanna skip this one.  But hang on (literally!), bungee jumping just may be the cure to your height problem…  This month make it a ‘To do’ and maybe you’ll get to live a little!  Come on, life is for the living.

3.   Write a letter

SMSing and emailing is all cool and, of course, the way the modern world runs; but what about that personal touch of a pen and paper?   Write a letter to your granny.  She’ll appreciate it, and it is so much fun to write by hand.  It adds something special to the note.

4.   Visit your friend

Sometimes it’s just a nice surprise to pop round for a visit.  There needs to be no occasion for it.  Just go and visit your friend whom you’ve not seen for long.  It will be a cool thing to do.  Put that on your list.

5.   PJ party

Yeah, we all love to doll up and look fab, but this month make a date with your girlfriends (you can invite the boys over too!!) and spend the night in your PJs surrounded by popcorn, movies and twister.  And what a comfortable eve it’ll be!  No make-up; no tight jeans; no high-heels…

6.   Graffiti it!

Take the spray-paint and paint the town red (or green and black).  Go and give the city a piece of your mind!  It is so liberating.  (Oh, a note:  this is just for you to do in your head, because it is kinda illegal to damage property!)

7.   Skate board

Chicks can do whatever dudes can do, right????  Well, prove it then.  Put those feet of yours on the board and skate alongside the boys, and show them what a chick is made of.

8.   Start a diary

Keeping your thoughts on the page is a therapeutic way of releasing pent-up energy and frustration.  It is also a way to have all your issues in front of you and put in perspective.  On paper it comes out more clearly.  As a bonus it will help with your writing.  Practice makes perfect… well, sort of.

9.   Keep it simple

This month, you have to promise yourself to keep it simple.  Don’t be complicated.  Give short, quick answers to your problems.  Don’t make things bigger than they are.  Just be a simple person.  You’ll see the rewards.

10. Ask him out

It is time.  You need to pluck up the courage and ask him out.   Times have changed.  Boys are doing girly things and girls are doing boyish things – so why not ask him out.  What gives a dude the right to ask a chick out when he feels like?  You have feelings too, so ask him out.  What are you waiting for?  Let him know.  He’ll have to respect the ‘dude’ in you.  Do it.  Change the rules.
